NAO watches animals

In this Projekt NAO performs a picture quiz with the students, to learn more about the different adaptions of local mammals to their environment. In the quiz the robot will ask the students questons concerning the important adaptions, characteristics or behavior of the local animals, which they are supposed to answer by showing the robot a picture of the correct animal (or the aassigned NaoMark). The robot application is already prepared and the students need to finish it.

Nao in London

This project is supposed to give information on and strengthen the knowledge about the year 7 topic "Great Britain (regional studies)". The students prepare their own application and thereby present one of London's sights or locations with the help of the robot. This is suppposed to take place playfullly in form of a quiz. The quiz should be performed with the whole class but be  prepared in small groups.

Robociety

This project addresses theories of justice within the topic of political philosophy in philosophy lessons.The students intended to experience the original state of principles according to which a just society lives with the help of NAO by creating a theory of state and programming the Dialog with NAO in group work. The theories of state will then be presented by the robot as a representative of the group. To the group NAO is the common junction of objectivity, impartiality and fairness. 

NAO, anatomy and movement

This project is intended to strengthen the students knowledge about the human anatomy and the utilization of anatomical components of the human body. At the beginning of the lesson,  the students receive worksheets, on which they can find pictures of components of the human body and the concerening exercises. By talking to NAO they should find out which bodyparts are shown on the worksheet, what they are used for and how they are used in which sports.

NAO in an election campaign

This project can be used at the end of the unit "elections and political parties". In small groups the students represent one political party each.  The goal of the project is that the students write the dialog with NAO whch contains certain information of the concerning party.  The robot takes the role of a party member and answers questions to specific key subjects. The needed input can be prepared by the students in advance.
